John Krimsky Busted for Child Porn

On the 6th of December, 2007, controversy was discovered about one of the more prominent executives of both the US Olympic committee and the New York Yankees-New Jersey Nets venture. According to authorities, John Krimsky Jr was busted for child-porn charges in Connecticut. John Krimsky Jr. 68 years old, was once dubbed the Olympic movement's Miracle Man, by the owner of the New York Yankees owner, George Steinbrenner, and it came as a true shock to everyone who heard about this unexpected turn of events.

Authorities assert that Krimsky used an America Online e-mail account to send 41 kiddie-porn images to some other person in Connecticut. Connecticut State Police and the New York Attorney's General's office had received three internet tips from the Internet watchdogs, which then led to their discovery of Krimsky's specific use of AOL email addresses to send child pornography. Before, the cops raided Krimsky's home in Sherman Connecticut, last October 2005, and they had identified 329 digital photos on some of his computers, which depicted naked boys and girls, ranging from 5 to 15, who were either posing or engaged in various sexual acts.

The cops reached him on the phone and when they confronted him about it, Krimsky swore that he had never sent images which he didn't get from another source. James Smith, the state police sergeant, wrote an affidavit that requested for a warrant to arrest Krimsky.

It was reported that Krimsky surrendered last Friday (November 30, 2007) to Connecticut State Police in Hartford, where he was charged for the proliferation of minors engaged in obscene acts, possession of child porn, as well as attempted possession of child porn. However, he was not jailed for long, as he released himself via a $50,000 bond, and was arraigned last Decmber 3, in Danbury State Court.
