Batman Loses to Dolphin

James Dolphin, New Zealand flyer had to make his best effort to win against Daniel Batman in an exciting 200m final of the NSW championships in Olympic Park. The result was a thrilling match where the final times are a mere .1 second apart, with Dolphin being timed at 20.70 and Batman scoring at 20.71.

Dolphin went to Australia particularly to participate in this race, and will be back for more Australian titles, performing his preferred race of 200 meters. This is probably due to him being a finalist at the World Championships last 2007.

On the other side of the fence, Daniel Batman plans to focus on the 200 meter race as well while considering 100 and 400 meters, and hopes that his Olympic performance will end on a luckier note.

Batman used to rank at #6 of the world in 2006, but frequent losses and a whole year being away from the sport had removed this distinction. He hopes to get back within the top eight ranking, and promises to join more races other than the Olympics, including the Nationals, Qatar and Japan.
